Vita

With over thirty years in the sport and wellness industry, I’ve been fortunate to work with industry leaders like adidas, FILA, Under Armour and most recently Beyond Yoga.

Being the Vice President of Sales for a growing yoga company during a “yoga legging” fashion craze was all consuming and I allowed myself to burn out. After leaving the company, I dedicated myself to a 200-hour yoga teacher training that I did for myself, my loved ones and to better serve my clients in the future.

The experience of learning something new was exhilarating and the physical practice of learning the poses, body anatomy and philosophy was exactly what I was craving in personal development.

Validation of my leadership style came after experiencing the unique FemmeQ training first hand on a journey to the UK in May 2017.  I am now utilizing this information along with my years of corporate experience and yoga teacher training as a platform to consult, connect and mentor as the founder of The Kare N Connection.  I want to see people flourish in all areas of their lives and believe how we care and connect at home and at work must be integrated with everyone learning to embrace self-connection and their own feminine intelligence for peace to be possible at any level. I am leading the efforts to bring the critical FemmeQ message to Los Angeles at the first event in the U.S. in Spring 2018.

The success and personal growth I have experienced has given me the platform to speak out and lead with confidence through The Kare N Connection.

Passion

I believe Peace is Possible! Even in the competitive global landscape we work in today. I hope to bring my awakened leadership and personally and professionally support peace however we work together.

After spending time with peace activist and three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Scilla Elworthy, I have become a Pioneer of the Possible and definitely believe Peace is Possible! Scilla has spent time working with countless world leaders including Nelson Mandela, Archbishop Tutu, The Dalai Lama and Sir Richard Branson, and she believes peace will come when each of us does our part internally and then in guiding our own communities with passion, love and kindness.

I am willing to spend the rest of my days doing my part and have begun the process of starting a non-profit organization:

California Love 4 World Peace

This will be a group of “Californians” that bring opportunities to California to learn how to make Peace Possible and support Ordinary People who live and work here taking Extraordinary Action in their own communities.
